We will provide fixed rate quotations once we have received information regarding the site, the extent of the survey work required and the specifications. Most topographical survey work can be priced from a location plan / Ordnance Survey map. Often an address will suffice as Google Maps will do the rest. Building survey work, internal floor plans and elevations may require a site visit which is free of charge with no obligation.

As with most cases the work is required urgently and the timescale is usually stipulated by the client. All quotations are issued with lead times and upon instruction we provide accurate completion dates. Progress reports can be are provided for larger contracts.

Yes, the majority of survey work we undertake is in and around the North West; however we do undertake work all over the UK and have been involved numerous construction contracts throughout Europe.

We use Leica instruments, TS 15 reflectorless total stations, SmartRover GPS system together with Optical and Digital Levels.

Yes, copies of insurance certificates are available upon request.

Yes, surveys required to Ordnance Survey datum are surveyed using GPS equipment. We can provide Ordnance Survey maps and Land Registry plans digitally which may assist with Boundary Disputes.

A measured building survey is an accurate representation of your building showing all the structural elements and architectural features. Floor plans are essential to give an accurate representation of the building and this is backed up with elevations and cross sections presented as a scaled survey drawings.

The amount of detail included in a measured building survey depends on your requirements, and may vary for the purposes of design, planning or feasibility. The structural elements including walls, columns and beams, being the most important, are shown on the floor plans, elevations and sections. All features such as doors, windows, services fittings are then added with floor levels, heights and descriptive text to give a clear representation. Survey drawings are normally delivered as CAD files and as scaled paper plans.
